2016 Mitsubishi Outlander First in Cars.com Ranking of Most Affordable 3-Row Crossovers
When you think of the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, what comes to mind? The versatile third row of seating? The impressively low starting MSRP of $22,995?* The industry-leading 10 year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty?
All are great answers, and all are part of the value that led Cars.com to rank the new 2016 Outlander first in its list of most affordable 3-row crossovers.
The Outlander is substantially refreshed for the 2016 model year, boasting an updated exterior, revised navigation system, and an even more convenient folding process for the second row. In total, the Outlander features over 100 different engineering and design improvements. Third-row seating comes standard on the new model, putting it in rare company.
“We designed the 2016 Outlander to be an unmatched value in its segment, so it’s no surprise to us that it leads the way on the Cars.com list of most affordable 3-row crossovers,” said Don Swearingen, MMNA Executive Vice President. “From its long list of features, to available advanced safety technologies and a new eye-catching design, the seven passenger Outlander is a leader in value and reliability.”
In addition to the vehicle’s purchase price, Cars.com also considered five years of fuel costs and residual value after five years to determine each crossover’s affordability. In addition, only vehicles that come standard with expected features like automatic transmission, power driver’s seat, and rearview camera were eligible.
There’s a lot to love when it comes to the new 2016 Outlander, but it all adds up to one thing: a great value. Visit us at MotorWorld | MileOne Autogroup for a test drive and we’re confident you’ll be a fan.
