The hybrid UX pairs the same 2.0-liter inline-four above with a high-output, permanent-magnet, electric-drive motor to produce even more power at 181 horses. The hybrid powertrain features incredibly smart performance tech, like an intelligent All-Wheel Drive system that monitors the road and makes power distribution decisions autonomously, sending up to 80% of the power to the rear wheels when it detects that additional traction is needed.
