2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Overview

Say hello to the next generation of luxury. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan has been redesigned for the 2021 model year and the result is a stunning masterpiece. If you were enamored with previous models, the 2021 S-Class is a perfect enhancement of what came before it. It’s not just the exterior though. Drivers will find new engine options, breath-taking interior design, and of course, the latest in automotive technology.

The Perfect Ride For…

The uncompromising driver. As the flagship car for one of the most renowned luxury brands in the world, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class cuts no corners. Using a stereo camera, the available MAGIC BODY CONTROL® scans the road ahead and adjusts the suspension to provide an unparalleled experience. Drivers who want sport sedan performance will find it in the S-Class, but those who crave the quiet elegance of an executive sedan will be pleased by how well-mannered the S-Class is. In short, if you want it all, you want the new S-Class.

Drive and Handling

If you’re thinking you can’t have both athleticism and refinement, Mercedes-Benz can prove you wrong. When it designed the two new engine options for the 2021 S-Class, Mercedes-Benz didn’t hold back. The S500 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces up to 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. For the S580, a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 capable of a blinding 496 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Both models are equipped with the brand’s renowned 4Matic all-wheel drive, so drivers will not only enjoy remarkable power but also impeccable traction and grip.

Key Features

Unmatched Luxury

If cars were judged like airline classes, the S-Class would easily be a First Class Cabin. For generations, few automakers have generated viable competition for the brand’s flagship model. With 2021, Mercedes-Benz is going to leave everyone else clabbering to keep up. It starts with the exterior design, which is leading the brand into the future. The uplifted front end gives a commanding appearance while speaking to the lavish experience of driving the S-Class. Without overstating its appeal, the S-Class remains refined and contemporary. Inside, the opulent experience continues with available OLED displays, a head-up display, interior lighting, and supple leather trim.

Innovative Technology

To the engineers at Mercedes-Benz, luxury and modern technology are synonymous. The engineers seamlessly integrated both into the cabin of the 2021 S-Class. The 12.8 center touchscreen is powered by an updated version of MBUX, the infotainment software that makes Mercedes-Benz models so much more initiative than competitors. For the driver, the digital instrument cluster features a 3D effect that makes the information pop out of the screen without 3D glasses. Features like the navigation system can utilize the head-up display for augmented reality to project your next turn on the windshield. Three screens are available for the back seat as well with two 11.6-inch touchscreens attached to the front headrests and a 7-inch tablet in the center. Rear passengers will be able to use the “Hey Mercedes” functionality. The optional Burmester® 4D surround sound system includes 30 speakers and eight resonators to produce the most amazing sound quality in the 2021 S-Class. Combined with the latest in quiet cabin technology, you’ll be isolated from the outside to fully immerse yourself in the S-Class experience.

Alternative Options

While we think the S-Class is unmatched, it may be too much for some drivers. If you want less executive and more sport, consider the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe. For drivers who want the S-Class experience in an SUV, the 2021 GLS is the right model. Not sure what you’re looking for exactly?
