2024 Mitsubishi Outlander

Overview
The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander makes its mark with a generous warranty, unique exterior styling, and seating for seven, all at a very competitive price for the compact crossover SUV class. In addition, the 2024 Outlander offers a pleasantly appointed cabin and generous levels of some of the most sought-after vehicle technology on models beyond the Outlander's base trim level. While its third row may not provide ample legroom for adult passengers, the Outlander is among only a very few compact crossovers offering space for seven passengers, making it a great choice for families with young children. The Outlander is the largest Mitsubishi available in the U.S. and Mitsubishi's best-selling model. The 2024 Outlander is offered in seven trims: ES, SE, SE Tech, Black Edition, SEL, SEL Touring and SEL Premium.
Who's It For?
The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander offers young families seating for seven, something few compact crossovers on the market offer owners today. While the third-row seating may not provide comfortable seating for adult passengers, it offers adequate space for families with young children. In addition, the Outlander also provides ample cargo space for luggage, groceries, sporting equipment, and more. The 2024 Outlander delivers unusual exterior styling, with its razor-sharp grill surrounded by rounded lighting elements, making for a playful look that owners may find uniquely appealing.

What's New for 2024?
After a major redesign in 2022, the Mitsubishi Outlander sees few changes for 2024. But its free, limited-maintenance warranty for two years or 30,000 miles is a welcome addition to the latest Outlander's package. Also in store for 2024 is a new Platinum Edition featuring a two-tone black and silver exterior and light gray interior. The Black Edition also enjoys a few updates, including black semi-aniline leather-upholstered seating, as well as a black chrome window trim, black roof rails, and a black dynamic shield. Cargo space also increases on the 2024 Outlander, with the latest model boasting an additional 1 cubic foot of space behind the second and third rows.
Real World Performance
The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander comes with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated inline four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission, delivering 181 hp and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. The Outlander comes with front-wheel drive standard, but owners can opt for all-wheel drive instead. Owners will find the 2024 Outlander's acceleration times to be very competitive with most other compact crossovers, though it may be more at home on a city's surface streets than deftly maneuvering and merging at highway speeds. When it comes to handling, the 2024 Outlander is competitive for its class, offering both agility and composure. Drivers will find the steering is weighted decently, the ride is smooth but controlled, and body motions are controlled.
