Hyundai brings a few mechanical updates to the Santa Fe for the 2026 model year. A new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission replaces the previous eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Hyundai has also given the highest trim levels some additional standard equipment. For example, the Limited trim features second-row captain's chairs as standard, and the middle-tier trim levels now have wireless phone charging as a standard feature.
