Mitsubishi Unveils Outdoorsy Geoseek Concepts at 2016 Geneva Motor Show
Though the Show is enjoyable every year, the team at MotorWorld | MileOne Autogroup was especially thrilled by this year's Geneva Motor Show. Automakers from around the world debuted all sorts of production models and concept vehicles in Switzerland, giving all of us an opportunity to check out everything from vehicles we can expect to see at dealerships soon to one's we'll probably never have a chance to see again. One pair of vehicles that we particularly enjoyed, however, were Mitsubishi's Geoseek Concept models: the L200 and the ASX.
The L200 Geoseek pickup (pictured above) and the ASX Geoseek crossover (pictured below) both sport equipment modifications that make them even more ready to explore the great outdoors, including new front skid plates, a revised grille, and a gear basket on the roof. (Because if you're going to be exploring the great outdoors, you're probably going to need to bring some gear along.)
Orange accents highlight the vehicles' fog lights, side mirrors, and wheels, in addition to a nice vibrant stripe of orange inside the cabin as well. Besides this orange, both concepts also wore a lovely pearl grey the color of stormy skies.
The L200 Geoseek pickup gets handholds and lights in its roof rail, while the ASX Geoseek crossover gets LED fog lamps. Neither concept is incredibly different from the production model, but both have a nice bit of flavor to them that sets them apart all the same. And if you're wondering about the name, Mitsubishi says that "Geoseek" is meant to call to mind those who seek new frontiers.
