MileOneCares | Car Seat Safety & Distribution Event

Last week, MileOneCares continued to ensure the safety of our little ones as we hosted Car Seat Safety and Distribution Events across multiple communities, coinciding with Child Passenger Safety Week. These events took place in Baltimore, MD, Wilkes-Barre & Harrisburg, PA, and Virginia Beach, VA, and were a resounding success. We are thrilled to share that we were able to provide 148 car seats to families in need during these events. This would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our community partners who played a pivotal role in making these events a success.

MileOneCares: A Commitment to Safety

Through MileOneCares, our company’s commitment to safety goes beyond just selling and servicing vehicles. For the second year in a row, we have taken the initiative to host Car Seat Safety and Distribution Events in the communities we serve. Our goal is to not only provide free car seats to families in need but also to educate parents and caregivers about injury prevention when it comes to child passenger safety.

Our Car Seat Safety and Distribution Initiatives:

• Free Car Seats for Families in Need: Our primary aim during these events was to provide free car seats to families who might not have had access to them otherwise. Ensuring that every child has access to a safe and suitable car seat is a fundamental step in protecting their lives.
• Injury Prevention Education: Alongside the distribution of car seats, our events also served as an opportunity to educate parents and caregivers about the importance of car seat safety. Our team of experts was on hand to provide guidance on selecting the right car seat, proper installation techniques, and answering any questions parents had. Motor vehicle crashes are one of the leading causes of child fatalities, and using a car seat that is appropriate for a child's age, weight, and height significantly reduces the risk of injury or death.
• Community Partnerships: MileOneCares would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our community partners who collaborated with us in making these events possible. Their support and dedication to child safety in their respective communities played a crucial role in the success of these events.
